The Cervical Mucus Chart is one method of pinpointing the ovulation day.The cervical mucus changes in consistency, colour and smell in different stage of the cycle and therefoe, daily assessment of the mucus is encouraged.
Result is to be recorded ina calender using words such as sticky, gluey, egg-whitey, elastic, clear, brown, yellow. There are even International Charting Symbol for reference.
